Specialties within job/position: I am the civil deputy, fleet manager and a firearms instructor. I am also the OC Spray and Less Lethal/Chemical Munitions Instructor. I am a Certified Police Sniper.
Off Duty Hobbies: I enjoy repairing and driving classic cars, weightlifting, firearms and spending time with family and friends.
Voluntary Commitments/Organizations: I am a member of Calmar Lutheran Church and Iowa State Sheriffs' and Deputies' Association. I’m a former member of the United States Army Reserves and served in Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan.
